🎥 Movie Group Presentation; The Intern

In form of five persons per group, we were assigned to choose one movie which related to business or entrepreneurial activity. So, we decided to choose The Intern movie staring by Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro as main casts.

This is a comedy/drama type of movie. This movie was directed by Nancy Meyers, which is a very famous director in United States. In final week of this semester, we need to present this movie in lecture. In short, this movie was about Jules who runs fashion online shopping company in NewYork succeeded in expanding her company in a short term and she has been doing well both business and private. A seventy years old man named Ben is hired to Jules’s company by due to senior intern system. At first, Ben was out of the circles of the company because there was too much generation gap between Ben and other colleagues, but he has been gradually become popular among the company’s workers thanks to his conscience and gentle character. Meanwhile, Jules faced with big problems which were from both business and private. She had been being suffered because she couldn’t reveal her mind to anyone and she had to make a decision for the problems. The person who saved her was Ben. Jules has been gradually opening her mind to Ben thanks to his warm encouragements. Jules was given courage from Ben’s words and she decides to confront with various obstacles which block her way. There a lot of lessons we can get from this movie, especially for the intern. As an intern, the first impression is important. It will make a big difference for you. Looking good in front of employer will makes them think that you are really serious with work and always ready. Secondly, being recognition or noticed by employer is not everything. Also always be good to people, because we never knew with simple little things will meant too much to others. For example, looking to messy tables make Ostin bothers. Whittaker notices this and arrives early one morning to clear the entire desk without being asked. Ostin finds out and a huge smile of relief spreads across her face. Lastly, try your best to adapt with new environment, and don’t be afraid to share your fresh insights when necessary. So, i really recommend this movie to all, as this is one of the great and inspirational movie. This movie tells about real life and how we will handle it with calm and rational mind 🌹
